Indian Politics

India is the second largest populated country in the world, having different culture, caste, creed, religion but still everyone lives together. People speak different languages in distinct parts of the country, however this doesn't affect the unity of the people.

India is secular state. Politics here like other democratic countries involves the ruling party and the opposition. Politics points to the the activities surrounding the country's governance. There are 2698 registered political parties in India, out of which 8 are national parties, 52 are state parties, while 2368 remains unrecognised. There are two major political parties in India, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC), which clearly shows the two different right and left spectrums of their ideology. 

          

The politics in India suffers due to clash between different ideology. Every political  party forces their beliefs/ideas by force. Election in India is majorly fought on religious sentiments. No leaders talk about the development, which is the major topic of discussion. Very few leaders, who come in politics to do something good for the society, these corrupts grasp them in the sector of dirty politics which involves only money. MLAs are bought with money even during the last days of election. Votes are bought with money, alcohols etc. This is the reason of increasing corruption in every sector of government. Often, leaders provoke public towards religious sentiments. Sometimes, these clashes turns into violence, riots. Further this leads to strikes, public protests etc.

The politics in India needs to be cleaned thoroughly. This can't be done by some single person or a group of people. People, including leaders, need to change their thinking, mindset. Education needs to be promoted very largely. There should be proper eligibility criteria for leaders before entering politics. Our country is being divided by these bad sentiments getting into minds of people by these leaders. Hope the situation will soon change and country would start progressing very soon.
